Excellent draft beer and good service. The history of the place was very unique and interesting, we enjoyed visiting very much. Don't give up on trying to find it, it is tricky as there aren't many good signs to get into the lot which is in the back of the building.

Driving home from Letchworth, we decided on a late lunch and food this place. It's a little bit hidden, parking is in the back. Nice old building with lots of interesting history, plenty of setting and chill music playing. Server was super nice and welcoming. Took good care of us. Being Sunday, they only serve their brunch menu which has plenty of options. I was a little hesitant on the wings but gave them a try. They were awesome! Great flavor combination, perfectly crispy skins, and true jumbo size wings. The burger was awesome too, great combination of flavors and perfectly cooked. French fries were perfectly seasoned and as good as everything else. I look forward to coming back and trying items from the non-brunch menu.

"She's a witch of trouble in electric blue In her own mad mind, she's in love with you With you, now what you gonna do? Strange brew, killin' what's inside of you" (Cream) I just read that Strange Design was Geneseo's first brewery. It's inside an ancient brick mill building up on the second floor. We had an excellent lunch today. It was excellent for three reasons. Reason #1 was our beers. We each drank Emmeline (5.2% and 22 IBU. It's a Scottish 80 schilling ale with "Caramel and toffee notes". It was light, super drinkable, very refreshing and delicious. Reason #2 was our food. My wife had a Grilled Turkey Pesto Sandwich ($15.50) with turkey, provolone, and a basil pesto on grilled sourdough bread. I had a Farmhouse Cheddar Burger ($16.50) with BBQ sauce, cheddar, bacon, and crispy onions. I loved my burger! Both are offered with fries or a side salad. We both had the fries, and they were crispy, piping hot and excellent. Reason #3 was our server, Ryan. She was an absolute delight to deal with. She was funny, informative, friendly, and just plain great. Nothing strange about Strange Design. We loved it a lot.

Great service, great beers, and absolutely delicious, unique food. Also love that there's always some good tunes playing. Some of our favorites are the mockingbird fried chicken sandwich (the sauce is ), the brussel sprout nachos, the grits, and whatever the flatbread special of the week is, always kills. Also, highly recommend the lilac gin with lemonade!

Overall good (had grilled cheese) and the atmosphere was great. Nice beer selection. Out appetizer was the brussel sprout nachos and apparently, they are quite popular there- but I thought they were not very flavorful and were pretty meh and wouldn't order again. Service was excellent and I would go again and try some different food/beer options

What a delightful discovery in the heart of Livingston County. you walk up all the stairs, or take the elevator if you need to, to this 19th century venue. The items on the menu are very interesting. Their assortment of beers is excellent. The wait staff are pleasant and knowledgeable. Do try the raspberry beer and the citrus beer, currently numbers 15 and 13 on their menu. The brussels sprouts nachos, their specials, didn't disappoint. If the next time I show up, I get a repeat performance, I will change this to a five star review.

Stopped into strange design for a quick bite and some beers. The building is so cute! I was not expecting a cool brewery to be inside! They did a really good job decorating to not make it feel too old, but still keep the charm of the older building. The beers and wings were very excellent and the staff was friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back!
